We are exploring Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Nyhavn, the 17th century harbor area adorned with colorful row houses along the canal, the Gefion Fountain, the Church of Christ the Savior with its baroque architecture and interesting bell tower, Christiansborg Palace, which is home to the royal monarchy, Amagertorv Square and St. Nicholas Church, the symbol of the city, the mermaid statue and the national theater. After breakfast, our first exploration journey begins in the footsteps of the Vikings. Departing from Denmark, we head to Sweden over the famous Öresund bridge and visit Foteviken, the archeological Viking open-air museum located on the Höllviken peninsula. We embark on a true historical journey to the world of Vikings in the ancient settlement, which was discovered as a result of archaeological research of sunken Viking ships. We shop at the Viking market, forge iron and shoot arrows like a Viking. Then we arrive at Malmö, the hidden pearl of Scandinavia, and explore Malmö, the historical city of Sweden. Check in at the hotel after visiting the old market square Stortorget, adorned with colorful medieval buildings, the famous town hall Radhus with its stunning Renaissance façade, the King Gustav Monument and the small square Lilla Torg.
After breakfast, we arrive in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, by high-speed train. Our first stop in Stockholm, the political and cultural center of Scandinavia, is Gamla Stan, the heart of the city with its medieval and Renaissance buildings. The square, which has its name written on the Guinnes World Records List with its oldest and narrowest streets in Europe, is also home to the royal palace and Stockholm Cathedral. Then, the popular area of the city, Riksbron Bridge and Drottninggatan, the colorful interesting buildings around Stortorget Square and the Great Harbor Square, the concert hall where Nobel prize ceremonies are held every year, the opera house and the canals are among the places we will see. Afterwards, we visit a local place and have a pleasant dinner with Scandinavian delicacies from Swedish cuisine. Return to hotel after dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we go to the Vasa Museum to travel to the Scandinavian maritime history. We explore the famous Scandinavian warship wreck that sank in the 17th century. Then Sigtuna, the first city of Sweden, awaits us. After our tour that will fascinate history buffs in Sigtuna, the first known city of Sweden with its historical buildings dating back to the 10th century, we are heading towards Northern Sweden this time to have another extraordinary experience and arrive at another archeological Viking settlement. Upon our arrival, we go to the lake pleasure with wooden Vikingt boats like a real Viking and watch the sunset. Then, we are guests at the Viking table, which will be prepared in the Viking style, and we have my dinner. We continue our extraordinary experience with the Scandinavian sauna, a prehistoric spa. We relax in wooden spaces with a Scandinavian style sauna and enjoy staying in wooden Viking houses.
After breakfast, we depart for Norway by high-speed train and arrive in Oslo, the capital. Akershus Castle, City Hall, Nobel Peace Institute and Royal Palace are among the places we will see on our tour. After lunch with wood-fired Norwegian salmon at the local place, we visit the famous Frogner park with sculptures built by Gustav Vigeland. Then settle into our hotel and overnight.
After breakfast, free time and transfer to Oslo Airport depending on the flight time.
